Las Vegas garage services company partnership

As you know, we are just a normal couple who run this blog for our interest in the topic. And to travel, buy, and experience all the things necessary to keep providing content, we must spend some money.
For this reason, we have partnered up with a small business who are very close friends of ours. They are a local garage business in the Las Vegas area. Their overhead door service is phenomenal, and we can’t recommend it highly enough. Check them out by clicking here.
They provide repair help with broken springs, cables, rollers, and tracks. Brand new installation, child safety systems, replacements, and noisy doors are also specialty areas for them. Best part is, all of their services are priced at affordable rates. So please do us a favor and check them out or recommend them to a friend in need of garage work on their home.

Also, this is not just a shameless plugin for advertising purposes. We have become friends with the business owners while at our stay in Las Vegas and haven spoken to their customers about the quality of work they provide. So you can be rest assured that they are a reliable method for all your related needs. We really appreciate all the help, and things like this are what keep us going. Without these types of partners it would be harder for us to financially support our expensive hobbies. So if you like the content provided on the blog and want to help the cause, you don’t even need to support us directly. Just by picking up the phone and calling their garage business you can help them, and by proxy keep supporting us.
We will be working together in the future and possibly with other business to try and spread the word about our activities. Stay tuned for our next post!

Las Vegas: The city of food, wine, and crime

The Las Vegas strip is known for its exotic nightlife and alcohol. But after a recent trip as a couple, we discovered something special. What is it you ask? The food! The wine! The crime!
Vegas is filled with top of the line restaurants in virtually every type of cuisine. Many include some of the most famous chefs in the world. But unfortunately, every city has its downfall, and for Las Vegas that is the crime rate. We usually don’t share too many personal anecdotes, but this was just too eventful to pass up.
Also, most of our reviews of places and items exclusively focus on the positive. We understand that a more well-rounded description would be of more use for our readers.

To start out in the Sin City, we had all of our belongings stolen from the hotel room. We won’t name companies, but the hotels door locks were abysmal. Everything was stolen, including the keys to the rental car. We called a local locksmith in Las Vegas and had it sorted out.

This experience should be a stern warning to any of our readers before traveling to Nevada. Security should be of top priority. Now on to the good stuff.

What to experience from the rest of the city

Vegas hotel

Amazing cuisine and gourmet beverages. Although the area gets a bad rap for the things we just previously mentioned, the inside of the establishments are incredible. Some of the most luxurious buildings in existence. And the cuisine experience does not fall off from that mark. Whether you are eating at a cheap fast food truck on Las Vegas Boulevard or inside of the highest class restaurants, the place has something to offer. It is also a conglomerate of all the worlds dishes packed into one small location. You can have the highest quality food from China in the morning, and gourmet French cuisine at night. It truly is an exceptional food experience like none other. It includes eateries from the top chefs in the world such as Bobby Flay and Wolfgang Puck. As you can guess, cooks like these also know how to select wine. In the end, the positives of the area outweigh the negatives as long as you are careful.

Blog update

Most of the posts so far have been our reviews; we plan to branch out from this a little more in the future. Thank you all for reading.

Best vacation spots with excellent food and wine

For this post, we are going to discuss our choices for best vacation spots for you wine lovers. To some of you, many of these places may be familiar manufacturing points on your wine bottles.

Napa Valley, California

Located in the beautiful golden state, this is a place you have to visit at least once. As the majority of our readers are based in the U.S., this can be an excellent vacation spot without having to spend a fortune flying across the Atlantic ocean. It is located just a little north of San Francisco and is within a short distance of the beach. Perfect choice if you are looking for wine and a view.

Constantia Valley, South Africa

Near a beautiful coastal city on the African continent, this is one of the most underrated traveling spots for wine enthusiasts. The scenery and tasting there are incredible. Oh, and we forgot to mention, it is only within half an hour of Cape Town. Within minutes, you can be visiting the bright blue waters of coastal South Africa, while enjoying some of the highest quality of wine known to humankind. This city has a rich history dating back to its involvement with the Dutch East India company. Primarily know as the biggest company–adjusting for inflation of course–to have ever existed. We think this place doesn’t get enough recognition as a great place to enjoy your break, even without considering the wine selection. Seriously, its that good.

Porto, Portugal

While it is a European city, Porto has a unique vibe that is not explainable. The scenery is to die for, and the whole place has a deep wine culture. They even have museums that give you a tour and tasting of different wines. If you are interested in a spot with an amazing history, great wine, and fantastic people, then Porto is the place for you. Note: Be careful, you may want to throw away all your money and visit every year (:

Jerez de la Frontera, Spain

Like many of the previous spots, it is located near a big city. Seville, a place on top of the River of Guadalquivir. While they are both excellent places that have great wine tastings, the best part involves something else. What is it you may ask? It’s the Food. As food and wine addicts, we have traveled the world tasting delicacies. But this place is in a world of its own. We couldn’t believe how rarely this spot is mentioned for its excellent delicacies. If you are into tapas and love flavorful food, then you must go here.

Sonoma Valley, California

For our second to last spot on the list, we head back to the states. In the same state as the beautiful Napa Valley, Sonoma is an often overlooked traveling destination. Another North American option that has to be taken advantage of. In fact, you could visit it at the same time you are visiting Napa. Sonoma has amazing events including parades, driving events, family festivals, and much more. This is all on top of the amazing wines that go for tasting, and the diverse set of food options. If you want something a little closer to home without sacrificing anything, then don’t miss out.

What about Tuscany!

As we all know, a wine destination list could not be complete without mentioning the famous Tuscany vineyards. We think this one speaks for itself. The surrounding areas, the landscape, the food, the wine, the people, the culture, and the weather, this place has everything to offer.

Best Wines under 20 dollars

If you are not too familiar with wine, or in need of some cheap alternatives, then you have come to the right place. As wine fanatics, we know just how expensive wine can be. That’s why we have created a quick overview of 5 beverages we consider to be great choices for under $20.

Tikal Natural Organic Red Blend

Made from whole grapes, this product comes handpicked straight from the Uco Valley vineyard. It color palette resembles that of a dark red apple, with a scent that is to die for. The wine features elegant touches of raspberry and mocha to compliment its rich grapes. This goes great alongside any meal, especially with grilled foods in the yard, or on an afternoon picnic. Currently retailing for around only $19, this is a bargain you shouldn’t miss.

Ritual Casablanca Valley Pinot Noir

The second featured beverage in our roundup, the Ritual Casablanca product retails around just under $18. A very fruity blend originating in Chile, this Pinot Noir has a refreshing quality and smell that sets it apart. When first tasting this wine, we could not believe that it was not of a premium price point. Just goes to show that prices don’t always mean much in the venue of wine. If you are looking for a South American flavored wine for cheap, then this is obviously a great choice.

Boschendal The Rose Garden Rose

Our first white wine featured in the mix, the Garden Rose is something special. Coming all the way from South Africa, the light and crispy feel is incredible. Fresh raspberries and strawberries can be tasted on the first sip, and add an amazing flavor. This option goes great with any seafood dish, and can enhance your meal to the next level. Want a quality white wine without breaking your budget? The the Garden Rose is right for you.

Haras de Pirque Hussonet Gran Reserva Cabernet Sauvignon

Another Chilean beverage, this is great Cabernet. For $13 this can be paired with any choice of red meat for an amazing synergy. It is a very dark red color and has a spicy aroma, along with a touch of rosemary. Although it is the cheapest option in our roundup, the Haras is still a classy choice for many of your drinking needs.

Kaiken Ultra Malbec

The Kaiken Malbec comes in a vibrant red and has rich aromas. Hints of a spicy flavoring compliment this wine, along with scents of fresh berries. A mixture of both flowers and fruit, this product, has a lot going for it. On first trying the Kaiken we guarantee you will be surprised with the quality and taste. And for only $16, you’d be crazy not to give it a chance.
